Carrie turned 21 yesterday!!! I can't believe she's so old. Happy birthday to my little drunky!

Random updates

I got a new camera today! Woo hoo!! It's a Canon sd750, an upgrade from my broken sd600. This camera will not meet the hands of a clumsy buyer. But I will just have to live with my own clumsiness. Since the weather is nice outside today I'm going to eat lunch in Bryant park and take some pictures! That flickr badge is going to get a lot more interesting.

In other news, Brian and I are also the new owners of Flor carpet tiles. Right now we have a rug that is more of a towel. It's a pain in the ass to vacuum and works as a magnet for George hair. The Flor tiles feel like a real carpet and are a mix of 4 reddish colors. It will be fun to put together a pattern tonight.

And in Sonny news, he postponed his flight to Monday. He needs to sell his car and couches. Anyone interested in a Honda Civic?

catching up...

First of all, Happy Spring, y'all!!!!!

Second of all, Happy Birthday, George! He's two and we love him.


Brian, Wendi and I had a fun Easter yesterday. We met for Brunch, walked around Soho and ate super yummy chocolate cake. It was the perfect spring day! (
well the weather could have been warmer, but you get my drift)

Katie and Shaun were in town last weekend. We had such a great time being tourists with them. Though, I was totally pooped when they left. We walked too much, drank too much and ate too much. But those are three of the best things about NY so it was perfect. I would say a highlight of their trip was when a random guy in the subway offered Shaun some porn. Pretty awesome!

This week is going to be awesome because sonny is moving here on Wednesday!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited to have my boyfriend and husband together again. We're going to have the best time!

One last thing, I need a new camera. I feel kinda lost w/out one. And I don't have any pictures to post!

Obama '08

I really loved Obama's speech today. It was a presidential speech. One that makes me believe if/when (please) he is our president we can expect him to lead us into the direction of change. I have to admit that I got a little teary eyed while watching.

we're all booked

Brian and I finally finished booking our Germany/Amsterdam trip today and we are pumped!!! We're flying into Dresden, then will spend a weekend alone in Amsterdam before the rest of the family gets there. I'm super excited to see Sunshine's life in Germany. And hanging out in Amsterdam will be super fun. This is a much needed vacation!!!
