When Brian and I first moved in together I was a psycho crazy cleaner. Of course this is when I worked two jobs, worked out 4 days a week and apparently had a lot of energy. Then I started to go crazy, literally, and Paxil came to the rescue. I took it to help with my anxiety attacks and it did the job well. But with the Paxil came a sense of laziness about cleaning. Every since I started taking Paxil about 2 years ago, and even after I stopped 3 months later, I haven't been as nuts about cleaning the house.
Last week I started having really bad anxiety attacks again. These were the worst I've ever had. I couldn't breath, I was shaking, my mind was racing...not good. So when I went to the doctor about my knee on Friday I asked her for something to calm me down. Paxil to the rescue! I was nervous to start taking it again for a couple of reasons.
1.) It's hard to come to terms with the fact that your mind needs help coping with things.
2.) I know this is all stress induced and I didn't want to over react by taking pills.
3.) I'm worried that the Paxil will make me even more blah about everything. ie. cleaning.
My anxiety attacks were fine over the weekend, though this morning is a different story, and I'm happy that I decided to take it again. Hopefully it will calm me down and help me enjoy everything that's going on. But the really good news is that I was mopping the kitchen floor last night at 9:30. Does this mean that the new Paxil reversed the lazy cleaning effects from before? I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

Game duex...
Game two between the Suns/Mavs will be so good tonight. Raja Bell is out for the game, which should be interesting for the Suns. I'm thinking our German friend will win tonight. This will be a good one to tape for you, Janko.
Brian and I are going to San Francisco this weekend to start off the wedding season. My cousin Rich and his love, Phoebe, are gettin' hitched. You remember Phoebe...
They are getting married on Treasure Island...it should be a lot of fun! Not to mention Carrie just got her first fake ID so we can go out with her. Plus, we get to see Ollie and maybe Levi. But I have to say that the most anticipated part of the weekend...Woodstocks on the way home. My belly is growling as I type this just thinking about it. YUM!

Chose the right...
So what do we think about the verdana? I think I like it but if I make the change B to the Z will look like every blog/news site on the web. hmm...
On to better things. Do you thinks it's possible that the government stole DNA from Levi when he was born? Because I think I saw proof today. Levi's clone is alive and well in Pasadena and he frequents the Starbucks on Hill and Walnut. This guy looks just like my future brother-in-law. Same eyes, same face, same goatee, same hair, same facial expression. The only difference...clone boy is 7 feet tall!
So I'm thinking that the Mormons stole Levi's DNA when we was born in Utah. They then used his DNA to create a super human. The guy, I'm sure, has Levi's comical wit and is tall enough to be a NBA all star. Who wouldn't love him? The Mormons create super humans from DNA so that people will like their crazy religion. But it seems clone boy didn't make it to the NBA, he failed. And now all the Mormons are left with is Mark Madsen.

I was like, whatever...
Two game sevens tonight...Awesome!! The Playoffs are so fun!! The downside to these long series...B and I have no time for anything else. Yesterday we had to watch the Pistons/Cavs game which took up the bulk of the day. We wanted to go hiking but couldn't because if we went in the morning we wouldn't be back in time for the game. And it was too late to go after the game. So a nice Sunday was kinda useless, but it's worth it because Playoff Basketball is exciting!! Brian keeps saying he'll tell his grandkids about the 2006 Playoffs.
We did see The DaVinci Code last night...umm...whatever. That is really all I have to say about it.
ps...B, how do you like the Verdana?

Go Al!
This week is so weird. I keep going in and out of bad moods. Like last night when I found out that The Knot over charged me $350 on an order I was in a really bad mood. But then when Brian and I were watching the Mavs/Spurs game I was happy because I love the playoffs and I really love Inside the NBA, especially when Magic isn't the in studio guest. (Speaking of which I was pretty impressed with Kobe last night) But then I got in a bad mood after the game because my joints and back hurt so bad that I couldn't lay down, sit down, or stand up w/out a constant pain. Maybe all of these mood swings and stress are getting the better of my body.
So this is my vow to not get stressed out about the wedding or any of the 60 million weddings I will attend between now and September. (I'm starting to get so annoyed with the thought of weddings that I want to become a nun. They don't have to deal with that kind of stuff.) I can't promise no stress with work because work is stressful.
Have I told you all my dream career change? I want to save the world from global warming with Al Gore. I can do it!

My vision is so blurry right now. I'm not sure if it's my eyes or my computer. But I'm pretty sure I'm going blind.

good times...
Brian and I invited some amigos over for a party on Seis de Mayo. I dressed up like a senorita, we beat up a pinata, drank margaritas and pacifico, and ate chips and guacamole. It was a lot of fun and we were happy that all of our friends made it out from Long Beach.
I have to say the highlight of the day was the Diet Coke and Mentos experiment. Everyone stood on the front porch and watched Brian drop Mentos into a 2 liter of Diet Coke. It only lasted 5 seconds but memories last a lifetime. haha...
The pinatas were pretty fun too. I was amazed that all of us in our 20s and 30s get such joy out of hitting a paper mache horse while blind folded.

Check out the rest of the photos here.

5 of may
Happy Cinco de Mayo!! Today is a day to celebrate Mexico's victory over the French in 1862. It is also the perfect opportunity to drink Modelo and eat Burritos, two of my favorite past times. Yum-E!

i heart the playoffs...
Dude. Basketball was sooooo good this weekend!! The playoffs are awesome!! The games are more exciting and way more intense. Friday night was nuts. The Kings beat the Spurs, the Lakers beat the Suns. wtf? I would never have guessed that. And I have such conflict with the Lakers/Suns because I love both teams. Obviously I want the Lakers to win because that's my home team, not to mention it makes for a more exciting story. But I love the Suns and think they deserve to win. Steve Nash is amazing. The MVP runoff makes this series way more fun, too.
Yesterday Brian and I ditched out on Kristie, Curtis and the Festival of Books to stay home and watch game 4 of the Lakers/Suns series. Thank GOD we did! Overtime, bad calls, buzzer beating shots. I would have cried if we missed it. We went ballistic when Kobe made the winning layup in overtime. Our neighbors must think we're crazy.
After the game we sat outside on the patio enjoying our awesome yard and beautiful weather. It was a great weekend!
