Having new hair is fun! I just donated my old hair to Locks of Love.

elk antlers
Jesse found these antlers in New Mexico. They are so heavy and so huge and only one half of what an elk carries on his head. NUTS!!!

Ken and Kersten got married! The wedding was at the Natural History Museum in LA and was totally awesome! We got to walk around the whole museum all night and see two of our favorite people get married!

kharma
This morning I did my good deed for the day when I helped a young mom carry her 3-year-old son and stroller up the stairs of the subway. This was on my into the subway. So I get extra points for walking all the way downstairs and then carrying the stroller back up the stairs and then walking down again to catch my train.
I've been thinking a lot lately about having a baby in the city. Brian and I don't want to get pregnant for at least a year from now, but when you're in a big city there is a lot of planning involved. Mainly, we have to find a bigger apartment and save lots of money. But I also think how I'll maneuver through New York with a baby and then a toddler and then a kid. It seems like really hard work. So when I saw the mom's face look so desperate today, looking up from the bottom of those stairs, I thought of my future self. So I had to help her in hopes that a few years from now someone will help me.
The reason I mentioned the extra points is because I'm hoping that kharma comes back to get me today in the form of a beta key for Little Big Planet. Brian has been waiting for the past 36 hour for that download to show up on his PS3 and I can't wait to play that game.
