I worked from home yesterday... this is what the majority of the day looked like.

I saw a mouse in our local grocery store today. Not good. We can never go there again and it's only 1/2 block away. Guess we have to walk 3 extra blocks another.

A night with my boys
This is what our Sunday looked like. George sleeping on the couch and Brian playing WOW. It was a much needed lazy and relaxing day.

Sundance- the recap
So we're back... I'm really sad about that. While we were there I was dreaming of living in Park City and working as a librarian. (Cesca thinks I would be good at it... new career path maybe?)
I think this was one my favorite trips there. Mostly, because of John, Sue and Kathleen. We got to spend a lot of time with them and it was awesome. Kathleen is such a sweet and fun girl. I can really see how great Sue and John are with her and that her sweetness comes from all the love in that house. (I'm a little sentimental this week, bare with me.)
I was more excited to spend time with Kathleen, and play dress up, than I was about seeing movies. Though, we did see a couple of good ones. Levi's friend Nicole came up with us this year. I love her!! We need to give her a color. The four of us went to a super fancy dinner at Wahso on Main st. It was delicious and fancy and we had a rad, secluded table. One of the things I love about mountain towns is that casual is the ONLY dress code. We rolled into that restaurant looking like we had walked around in the snow all day and fit right in. If we were in NY or LA the reception would not have been so warm.
I can't wait till next year!! Here are some pics: (brian has more that don't involve kathleen... so check them out)

sundance
I'm listening to John Lennon right now to help cheer me up. But I don't know why. Every time I listen to Lennon I get depressed, thinking of his death. What a douche bag his murderer was.
Brian, Levi and I are leaving for Park City on Wednesday. I can't wait! This is a much needed vacation. This year marks our ninth at the Film Festival. (Well technically, Brian and I had to skip a year so it's only our 8th, but I'm not counting that because I doubt Levi any fun w/out us.) I've decided that I'm less and less into the films every year. I mostly enjoy hanging out at my uncles and people watching. Last year the people watching was especially good... I saw Ben (duh).
Here's a pic from last year, with Brian and Levi in front of Eccles, a venue we've come to know very intimately.

So it's 2008....
and time for New Year's resolutions.
These were my resolutions last year, with updates.
1. do 3 push-ups in a row check (finally)
2. go the gym and get cute for Maui kinda... well at least until we moved to NY
3. keep up guitar and start voice lessons guitar-check. voice (see karaoke video).
4. start sewing again kinda, then moved and our place is small
5. have a positive attitude about work and keep doing things to make me happy outside of work (see numbers 2-4) went really well for a little while.
6. turn off the TV NOT
All in all I feel like I did well in 2007. So here are my new (though some of them are carried over) 2008 goals:
1. go to the gym and get cute for me!
2. eat healthier and drink less alcohol.
3. keep going (restart) guitar. forget voice
4. have a positive attitude about work and keep doing things to make me happy outside of work.
5. be crafty. keep cross stitching. start a new quilt, finish Dominic's quilt (i think i started it when he was 5... he's 7 now
6. get out of the house more and explore this rad city. This may be put off until it gets a bit warmer.
7. find a hair dresser in NY.
