We had a nice 4th. Spent the whole day on the Asbury's yacht with Ken, Jacqueline, Ken and Kersten. The whole day was really nice and relaxing. We all just hung around, talked about nothing and argued about nothing. I love days like that. The fireworks show was okay. I don't know if it was because I was so tired but I just wasn't that impressed. Though there were a couple of rad ones.
The traffic getting out of downtown was not fun! It took us an 1 and 45 min to get home. 45 min of that was getting from 3rd and Linden to the 710 on ramp. It was nuts!! I felt to so bad when we got home because George was home alone for a long time. But really I don't think cats care all that much. They are just happy to see you whenever. We had some really good make out session last night. That little guy is so sweet.
I started watching "Greys Anatomy"... it is good! I love Patrick Dempsey. I can't help but picture "Can't Buy Me Love" when I hear him talk. He could totally buy me for 1200 bucks!

It's official...
We are yuppies.
We are adopting a kitten, George, from Ken Hall and Kersten and couldn't be more excited. In fact, last night we went to Petsmart and stocked up on goodies for our new baby. We got toys, a bed, a scratcher, a food bowl and a water bowl. But not just any water bowl, a yuppie water bowl. It's a fountain. George is a privileged cat.
What's going to happen when we have a kid?

It's all over...
The Miami Heat are winners. Good for them. I'm bummed Dallas didn't win but whatever. Miami was the shit the past four games. D. Wade is amazing. So how sad can I be?
The best part about last night's game...Shaq taking the MVP trophy out of Stern's hands so he could hand it to Wade himself. Fantastic.

i do.
Sometimes when Abby and I are avoiding work we'll email each other to-do lists. Lately it's been about the wedding. Basically I'll create the list and she'll comment on each point. The list today was pretty short because I think most everything is taken care of. (I can say that now because I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.) Here's Abby's suggestion for our vows...pretty classic.
8. vows.
BZ"sorry bout u, sorry bout me, just say i do so we can be a family"
BM" sorry bout u, sorry bout me, now spread them legs bitch and give me a baby"

surprise!!!!!
After a long (and sick) week in New York, I came home to a very nice weekend. On Saturday I woke up early, got my hair did and had my first fitting on my wedding dress. I LOVE IT!!!! I feel so beautiful and bridal. I can't wait to walk down the aisle. And to make me feel even more special my AMAZING friends threw a surprise lingerie party for me on Sunday. It was so awesome and really lifted my spirits. I've been so down lately and it helps to know I have such loving people in my life. Kristie and Katie really spoiled me with the whole thing. And everyone gave me such beautiful lingerie to wear on the honeymoon. I'm so lucky to have the friends I do. I miss them a lot. I was crying on the drive home thinking of how sad I am to live so far away.
Shae spent the night on Saturday. She is so freakin' cute. B and I had so much fun hanging out with her. We walked to the park, played with the dinosaur puzzle and toy dinosaurs (she's obsessed), watched the dragon movie and threw towels on each other's heads. Every 5 minutes Shae would say, "Becky I love you." And I thought the fake sneezing was cute...
