happy burfday to me...

I had a really great birthday weekend. A nice dinner at Smitty's on Friday night. Then Cesca's shower on Saturday. good times. Saturday night I opened up a "mom" card from George and a (soon to be) "wife" card from Brian. (That's weird, right? From this birthday on we can get each other husband and wife cards.) I also got to open my birthday present...a badass Nintendo DS. It's so rad! I played Mario Bros. on the plane the whole way to NY.

Last night I went to dinner with Wendi and her new boyfriend Justin. He's great. We talked about how rad the Transformers are. The waiter at the restaurant brought a steaming drink to me to ease my cough. He said it was made with love...it was so strong it burnt my eyeball when I went in for a sip. But it did work for a little bit.

We're getting married in two weeks.

Brian wanted to make sure that I had flowers in my office the whole week at work so he sent flowers to me again on Tuesday. He's the shit like that. I love him.

sorry 'bout this...

My bachelorette party was last weekend. I had a such a great time!!! Cesca and Abby pulled out all the stops. We had a great room at the Beach House in Hermosa Beach. Fifteen girls showed up to celebrate with me...I didn't even know I knew that many girls. We were quite the scene heading out to start the night. Dinner was at Sangria, which is good but probably much better if there isn't a beach volleyball party going on while you're eating. It was really loud and extremely crowded, but fun.

After dinner we headed out to Union Cattle. Um... the name says it all. By the end of the night it was so packed I felt like cattle being drawn into the pen. They had a mechanical bull which I rode. Lisa and Katie took a crack at it too! good times. We looked hot! The Zellmers were in full force. Carrie was a little vixen. Abby was Katrina. Nichole made friends with everyone in the place. I was the perfect Zellmer, as usual. All us girls danced, drank and had a great time.

I'm a lucky girl to have such amazing friends. I felt so lucky all night to have such a beautiful entourage with me. I couldn't have thought of a better way to be sent off into married life.

We got our air conditioning fixed this morning. George loved the guy's ladder. He climbed all the way to the top and wouldn't get down. Thank god the repair guy loves cats. He used to have a George look-a-like named Marmalade.
