Last night I had my first guitar lesson. It was really cool. My teacher is a little nuts, like me. She talks too much and can't finish sentences because she gets lost in her thoughts. Her craziness is okay though because you can tell she's excited to teach music. I did pretty well for my first night. I need to practice, practice, practice. I'm going to start taking voice lessons from her, too, but I'm going to wait until January for that.

By February my two favorite babies, Audrey and George (oh, make that three babies. Emma will be here by then), will get serenaded by me!

Look, Brian and I got a new couch! It's super comfy and nice. Much better than the cheap, faded, dirty couch we've had for the past 4 years. Thanks to Sonny and my Nana for the cool wedding gift! Now cross your fingers that George, the scratchy cat, doesn't destroy it!

One not so awesome thing is that I was emailing and browsing the internet on my way to work today. That is not the safest thing to do while your driving in the rain.

I just can't get enough of this kid. How cute is she?

Today is mine and Brian's 8th anniversary. That's right folks, 8 years! We've been together for so long it's hard to remember not having Brian in my life. What's even more awesome is that I'll never not have him in my life. He's my best friend and I love him.

Here is the oldest picture I could find of us from bionicbrian. It's from Sundance in 2002. That's almost 5 years ago. Notice Brian's face from the nose down...haven't seen that in awhile. Also, notice my forehead which hasn't seen the light of day in quite some time now. We look so young.

Dear Mother Nature,

I know that you're probably really mad at us about the whole pollution and global warming thing, but 91 degrees in November? Are you kidding me? It's supposed to be cold and brisk in November. I want to wear scarves and hats and coats. Right now I'm wearing a tank top and a skirt. Yesterday I went for a run and was so hot that I had to walk through some one's sprinklers to get cool.

I promise that if you make it a bit cooler around here I'll do my part in the pollution department. I'll conserve energy and recycle.

OJ SUCKS!!!!

Is OJ Simpson the biggest asshole ever, or what? He's coming out with a new book, "If I did it" and an interview on Fox. The mother of his children was murdered and he is writing a book about how he would have commited the murder? Regardless of whether or not OJ did it, and we all know he did, he gets to profit from this? His poor kids. Do they even talk to him? I'm so disgusted. sooooooooooo disgusted!
