So what have I been up to...not posting on my blog apparently.
I was in Vegas last week. (which is 2 weeks ago now because I started to write this on 2/22.) It sucked. Vegas is not for me. But hanging out with Krisssy Pop on Valentine's night was cool. Even if her flight was super late and I hung out in the casino and got drunk by myself for a little while. We went to the Venetian, drank too much and stayed out too late. good times.
Last weekend (two weekends ago) was awesome, no really it was! Friday night B an I hung out with the LB homies. I miss them and it's always fun to see them. I can't seem to remember if Brian and I beat everyone at foosball, but I'm just going to assume that we did because we kick ass at everything. (Go team B!) Saturday was such a beautiful day we went to the Huntington Library for a picnic and to look at old books. Saturday night we babysat Audrey. She's so cute and I have a ton of pictures to post. She didn't poo all over herself this time, which was good. And we got to give her a bath and make her laugh. Sunday we went to San Diego to see King Cannon spin, aka Sonny.

I got up today at 4:30am (NY time) to catch a plane home. I went home took a quick shower and came immediately to work. It's 7:45pm on a FRIDAY and I'm still here. And I'm coming in tomorrow morning.
What is wrong with this picture?

city so great they named it twice
So I'm in New York. I took the red eye last night. My flight was interesting. I sat in the midst of 12 or so extremely Jewish teenagers. They would not watch TV at all and read Hebrew scriptures to each other the whole flight. I'm talking really religious. My favorite part was when the girl sitting next to me puked. Her little friends switched seats with me so I got to move one row behind. It smelled horrible. I drank a beer, my third drink for the night, and popped a Tylenol PM and tried really hard to sleep. But it's hard to sleep when you have 12 teenage girls gossiping and moving around CONSTANTLY!!!!
My flight came in at 4:45am. Thankfully my hotel let me check in really early so I didn't have to come straight to the showroom. Washing my face and pits in the bathroom at work is not my idea of a great way to start a work day. I'm so happy I got to sleep and shower. Walking to work this morning was great. I realized how much I feel at home here. When I get off the plane in JFK I know exactly where to go to get my luggage and a cab. I know the exact route the driver will take to get into Manhattan. And if he takes a bad route I know a faster one. Checking into a hotel is great when the staff knows who you are and what your favorite room is. (Though I didn't get it on this trip) When I walk to work in the morning I feel comfortable and confident about where I'm going. I recognize the people in Starbucks and understand that they're assholes because everyone is annoying, it's not just them.
So as much as I complain about traveling and working I am really lucky to feel at home in a different city, and not just any city, New York City. It's a cool thing and makes my life way more interesting.
But the day has just begun so my attitude will most likely change dramatically after a couple more hours here.

Well since I haven't met this adorable baby I'm forced to steal pictures from Jen's email. (Hope you don't mind, Reno.)
How freakin' cute is this baby? She looks so much like her daddy. I can't wait to meet her and pinch those cheeks!!! I love her!!

shae and the wolly mammoth
Shae and I went to La Brea Tar Pits this weekend. We saw a wolly mammoth, a saber tooth, birds, sloths, and turtles. It was tons of fun. And Shae finally got to meet George and see him drinking a beer.
