I'm listening to John Lennon right now to help cheer me up. But I don't know why. Every time I listen to Lennon I get depressed, thinking of his death. What a douche bag his murderer was.
Brian, Levi and I are leaving for Park City on Wednesday. I can't wait! This is a much needed vacation. This year marks our ninth at the Film Festival. (Well technically, Brian and I had to skip a year so it's only our 8th, but I'm not counting that because I doubt Levi any fun w/out us.) I've decided that I'm less and less into the films every year. I mostly enjoy hanging out at my uncles and people watching. Last year the people watching was especially good... I saw Ben (duh).
Here's a pic from last year, with Brian and Levi in front of Eccles, a venue we've come to know very intimately.

So it's 2008....
and time for New Year's resolutions.
These were my resolutions last year, with updates.
1. do 3 push-ups in a row check (finally)
2. go the gym and get cute for Maui kinda... well at least until we moved to NY
3. keep up guitar and start voice lessons guitar-check. voice (see karaoke video).
4. start sewing again kinda, then moved and our place is small
5. have a positive attitude about work and keep doing things to make me happy outside of work (see numbers 2-4) went really well for a little while.
6. turn off the TV NOT
All in all I feel like I did well in 2007. So here are my new (though some of them are carried over) 2008 goals:
1. go to the gym and get cute for me!
2. eat healthier and drink less alcohol.
3. keep going (restart) guitar. forget voice
4. have a positive attitude about work and keep doing things to make me happy outside of work.
5. be crafty. keep cross stitching. start a new quilt, finish Dominic's quilt (i think i started it when he was 5... he's 7 now
6. get out of the house more and explore this rad city. This may be put off until it gets a bit warmer.
7. find a hair dresser in NY.
