Brian and I took a trip to Louisiana and East Texas for Grandpa Jim's funeral over the weekend. It was really nice trip, despite the circumstances. It was so cool meeting all of Brian's family and seeing his grandparents house. His grandpa was amazing and chronicled his entire life in these awesome scrap books. We loved reading all of his stories and seeing pictures of his childhood, life in the air force and with his family. The viewing and funeral were really perfect, the whole weekend was a great celebration of Grandpa Jim's life.
I also had a really good time visiting with Grandma Patsy. I can see where Patty gets her sweetness. I'm blessed to be a part of that family.
I'll post pictures soon. We went on a badass steam boat ride through the bayou.

MRI update
It went fine. Though, I never ever want to do that again. It's so loud and uncomfortable. I won't get the results for another week.
Becky's Bike Got Stolen
My bike was stolen and all I got is this crappy broken chain. Seriously they sawed through a pretty heavy duty lock. And they only took my bike and not Brian's. Such a bummer!!!!

An awesome view
When I get home from work one of my favorite things to do is read in bed w/ George. Eventually the two of us will take a little nap. Sometimes George will cuddle. He snuggles up in my legs. It's the most awesome thing ever!

Wendi's first scrabble game
Wendi and Sonny came over for dinner last night. We watched the basketball game and played Yahtzee and Scrabble. Apparently this was Wendi's first scrabble game. She did really well. Though we did have to challenge her a couple of times.

Cutest ever!!
Audrey jumped on Brian's lap to read books. He was in HEAVEN!!! It was one of the cutest things ever.
