John Lennon was killed 25 years ago today! I was still in diapers when it happened but I grew up listening to his music. I can't help but feel a deep sadness over his death. When Brian and I talk about Lennon the conversation usually ends w/ us screaming to the killer, "dude, you should have just killed yourself."
The NY Times has a couple of articles/editorials about this depressing anniversary. Jack Mitchell took pictures of John and Yoko and recalls how close the couple was just a month before his death. The ER doctor that worked on Lennon that night says, "I think the world would have been substantially different if we could have saved him."
