I've been a pretty crappy blogger the past couple of months. My new job has a horrible internet connection and some strict firewalls. It's the man, holding me down. And let's face it, I spend work time on this stuff. I'm not completely out of the loop though, I have been doing most of my blogging on another site, http://teomoore.com.

Brian and I were watching "The First 48" last night. This was one the name of one of the Sgts. Seems unreal, right? So hilarious!

Today seems to be the longest day ever. I don't know if it's because it's stuffy in here, it's Monday and I'm just not ready for the week to begin, or if Father Time has really slowed the clock a bit today. Either way, I'm ready to go home and take a nap.

Today is our anniversary. Yay, we made it three years. I know this isn't a wedding picture, but right at this moment I'm missing Kauai more than the actual wedding so here you go. Three years ago we got to take this amazing catamaran tour of the Napali Coast. Today we are going to a really nice Seafood restaurant, maybe trying to relive our honeymoon a little.

Brian and I are still super bummed that Sonny moved. (He's an idiot, NY is awesome!) So to rub it in his face we like to go to his favorite spots in the city and send him text messages or pictures. This is Brian at Clem's, a cool little bar down the street from Doobo's old apartment. We took this while taking Carrie and Will to another one of Sonny's favorites, Barcade. And to top it off, we were coming from brunch at Essex. Sorry bout it, Sonny!

working for the weekend...

I forgot what a bummer it is to get out of bed on Monday mornings. This morning would have been much better if I was still unemployed and could have walked from the bed to the couch and watched West Wing while I leisurely drank coffee for 2 hours. Oh, the good ol' days.

This weekend was really fun. Saturday was Raina and my 30th Birthday Mustache Party! Everyone showed up with mustaches, it was so funny! Brian shaved a pretty sweet one just for the party. It looks so good that now I'm afraid he'll keep it forever. It's so Magnum P.I. I'll upload pictures this week. Yesterday we went to brunch and then played some video games at Barcade. I got 17,000 on Ms. Pac Man. Not the best score, but last time we were there I was so drunk I only got a 1000 or something.

Carrie and Will leave tomorrow. It's been fun having them here but I'm happy that our little B&B will be closing shop for the summer.

Happy Birthday

I'm in my 30s now! Wow! Brian made a party for me last night. I came home to balloons, presents, and flowers (from Kristie and Curtis). Then Brian, Carrie, Will and I went to Prospect Park to sing-a-long to "Purple Rain." So fun! It's awesome to be in a big setting like that with everyone dancing and cheering.

"Purple Rain," for those of you who haven't seen it, stars Prince as "The Kid," a young musician just trying to make it big. I'm obsessed with this movie. When I was a kid, about 10 or 11, I got my own video rental card, without my parents knowing, and somehow was allowed to rent rated R movies. So I would sneak and rent "Purple Rain" all the time. I loved it! But it is not child friendly at all. Infact, it was almost rated X. It's full of sex, drinking, violence and great music. So fucking awesome!

At the end of the movie when Prince starts singing, "I never meant to cause you any sorrow" the whole park erupted in cheer. It was amazing and such a fun way to spend my 30th Birthday!

new job

I started a new job this week and man did I forget how exhausting it is to sit at a desk for 9 hours.

Carrie and Will are here to spend a week with us. I'm excited to spend time with my little sis, Plus, it's fun that she'll be here for my 30th birthday. 30. Dude.

Big Head Dominic

Kristen and Dominic were in town this week to meet up with Steve, he's been touring with Katy Perry. It was so fun to explore the city with them. We went to the Natural History Museum, Central Park, did some shopping in SoHo, walked through the Highline and, of course, played video games.

I love this kid! He's so sweet and smart and polite. Kristen, you've done a good job with this little dude.
