I want to make chicken and dumplings for Brian's 30th birthday. Brian says that you are the master of chicken and dumplings. I have the Bracken cemetery cookbook. You're recipe is in there, right? Can I add celery or any veggies? Of course, Brian says no, but I wanted to ask the master.

New York is so awesome! It's such a beautiful day outside. I just had lunch in Bryant Park and watched ice skaters. Last night we went to see "Chicago" with Kristie and Curtis. They were in town for a wedding and Kristie's birthday was yesterday, so we cooked up a little broadway surprise for her. It's fun to live in a place that has so many cool things to do.
The marathon is this weekend and Abby is coming to visit. The fun never stops...

totally forgot...
Brian and I were watching TV the other night when we heard a crash in the kitchen. So Brian went in to make sure George was okay. He found George trying to catch a cockroach. The next thing I saw was George walking down the hall with a huge cockroach in his mouth!!!
I was totally grossed out but stoked at the same time. Our cat is badass!! But Brian and I did wonder how many he's caught and eaten...yuck!!!

I've been having some really weird dreams the past few weeks. I'm not sure why, but they are hilarious. Let's just say Freddie Prinze Jr. and Buffalo Bill were the main characters in one a few weeks ago. Last night was no exception...
I woke up this morning and said to Brian, "I had a dream last night that Abby cut my hair the night before our wedding into a mohawk with a mullet."

if she flys away...make a wish
Emma and I had a fun time in Napa! She walks and loves to eat things off the floor. We read a lot of books and drank some wine...well I drank wine.

I've done a pretty shitty job of updating this blog the past month or so. My updates to flickr have been even worse. So here goes a bunch of pictures!!
Wendi had a birthday. We went to dinner and then a random karaoke bar. It was fun! Wendi, Raina, Aja, Jesse, Brian and I all pinky swore to come back to the K-bar every week when we left. Have we been back yet? no!
and I was the only one that sang!
Last weekend we went to Brooklyn to celebrate Sarah's birthday. (Sarah is Wendi's old roommate) Her party was at the Royal Oak in Williamsburg. Brian, Wendi, Aja and I had a blast. We got drunk and took a lot of random pictures. Getting drunk helps deal with the hipsters that hang out there.

George has had a fun couple of weeks, too. His new favorite thing is to play fetch with the wrappers from Stella bottles. As soon as we start peeling the wrapper off he comes running to the couch to play. And he has a new favorite nap spot...our chair. Over this past weekend claimed it as his own.
We tried feeding George some new food. He wouldn't eat it out of the bowl, but felt he needed to drag it from the kitchen into his tent. silly kitty
oh and for fun...here's RAD 2.0.

I'm working from home today. Some elephants are stampeding across my head. It's really fun. The cool thing about working from home is watching George explore the house. He jumps on the bathroom sink, trying to get on top of the shelves above the toilet. The new table we got folds up and the chairs tuck inside. George is trying really hard to get those chairs out.
But on to better news...
On Friday I get to see Audrey. And on the next Friday I get to see Emma. Yay!
